National Tour! Proton car

Information on freezing tests using proton freezers

A test practice truck [Proton-go] equipped with a proton freezer will visit all over Japan to test foodstuffs.

This is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the Proton Freezer based on our basic concepts of reducing food loss, preparing safe food, effectively stockpiling food, leveling operations, and expanding and streamlining distribution. You can also experience the proton freezer at your company’s remote locations. Please prepare samples of your foodstuffs.

We will visit the site with a 2-ton truck.
Truck size,width:2200mm、height:3010mm、length:5580mmです。
Please reserve a parking space during the experiment.

2.

We will borrow a 200V three-phase power supply; a 20A-30A outlet or breaker is required.
An extension cord will be used to connect from the truck to the local power outlet.

3.

The demonstrator is fixed to a truck and freezing/thawing experiments will be conducted on the back of the truck.
The truck cannot be moved during the experiment.

About the Experiment

1.

It takes approximately 1 hour for the freezing machine to complete power connection and pre-cooling.

2.

After pre-cooling, which lowers the temperature inside the freezer to -30°C, the foodstuffs are loaded into the freezer.

3.

The capacity to freeze at one time is equivalent to five trays 600 mm (width) x 400 mm (depth).

4.

Please contact us in advance for the ingredients to be used in the freezing experiment.

5.

Freezing time depends on the ingredients and weight, but should be considered 1 to 2 hours.

6.

During the freezing experiment, we will explain how to use the freezing and thawing machines.
The total time is expected to be 3 to 4 hours.
*The end time may vary depending on the situation with questions, the amount of food to be frozen, and other factors.

About experimental ingredients

1.

Please take measures to prevent perishable items from being damaged while waiting (e.g., bring a cold bag).

2.

When freezing fish, it is recommended that guts and other organs be removed as much as possible.

3.

Some ingredients, such as raw vegetables, tofu, and konnyaku, may not be reproduced after freezing and thawing.

Handling of food materials after the experiment

1.

If you wish to take the food home, please bring a cool bag, coolant, or Ziploc.

2.

When thawing, about 4 hours will be required depending on the type of food, weight, and thawing method.

3.

When storing, it is recommended that the product be vacuum-packed, zip-locked, or otherwise kept in an environment where it is not exposed to air.
